Whisk & Rye is the dream and creation of Shelby L. Smith. Trained by the Le Cordon Bleu of Orlando FL. Shelby’s dream is to one day own a bakery cafe that provides its customers with traditional desserts, focusing on laminated doughs. Shelby enjoys creating croissants with her own personal twist, as well as bread, galettes, scones, and cookies. Since relocating to the Triangle, Shelby has worked at many establishments between Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill, providing its residents with well known breads, pastries and plated desserts. She hopes to continue providing the Triangle with her creations, but from now on under her own name. So please come and join us at Cure Deli for some delicious croissants cookies, scones, and cake.
