Frequently asked questions.

How do you determine how much to bake?

Our total baked goods for the day are determined using previous sales records to bake just enough for that day while keeping food waste to a minimum. This does result in us commonly selling out before the days end, and keeps our waste footprint as low as we can. Personally we have seen many food businesses toss so much food away at the end of the day, therefore we see it best to bake enough pastries to sell out and share the rest with our staff.

Do your offer Wholesale?

No. At this time we no longer offer wholesale service. We have found much more freedom and happiness in crafting and creating pastries on a whim. It would be difficult for us to offer pastries to customers when we haven’t yet decided on what we are going to bake.

Do you offer Catering Services?

No. We are a small run business focusing on the growth and sustainability of our shop. Granted catering can bring in good profits, gone are the days of working 70+hrs a week. We rather choose to live a comfortable lifestyle rather than worrying about catering small/large events in hopes of pulling in profits. We would like to become the friendly neighborhood Coffee & Pastry shop where you can be free to express yourself. A gathering space to enjoy coffee/pastries and conversations.

Do you offer Vegan or Gluten Free options?

Yes. We regularly offer Vegan items and make it a must to have at least half of our pastry case filled with vegan options.

Yes. We understand that not everyone is able to enjoy all baked goods and are limited in their selections. We do our best to offer at least two Gluten Free items a day. Items tend to stay the same with an occasional seasonal flavor change.

Do your offer Catering for your Mobile Trailer?

No. We do our best to maintain a healthy work/life balance and have chosen to operate our trailer at Northgate Park twice a week while also managing and expanding our physical shop the rest of the week.

Do you offer Pre-Order, Curbside or Delivery?

No. We bake on a whim and do not have enough time to consistently update online ordering services. We operate on the old tried & true First-come-Frist-serve practice.

Where can we find your Menu?

We do NOT have a set Menu.

We have found much more freedom and happiness in crafting and creating pastries on a whim. It would be difficult for us to offer pastries to customers when we haven’t yet decided on what we are going to bake.

Is everything baked In-house?

Yes. We bake everything in-house back behind the café everyday.

Why do you offer only (1) size drinks?

We chose to offer a singular size hot or iced drink to maintain quality and ratio. We heavily focus on maintaining the quality of our products ensuring that your every visit taste the same as it did before. It is also much easier for our team to craft drinks consistently and in a timely manner.

Why do you only offer To Go cups?

As a bakery/café we are governed by the Department of Agriculture and therefore must abide by the guidelines set by them. Unfortunately this means that we are forbidden to use washable utensils, only to offer disposable items. Having to do so we have made it a policy for ourselves to only use utensils that are compostable/biodegradable and sustainable.

Will you open more days of the week?

Maybe? We would love to open to maximum of 5 days a week. Before we are able to do that we must grow our team and ensure they are comfortable operating our physical location while we operate our mobile trailer.
